Canvas

Superstudio’s open Canvas is a playground for ideating, curating, refining, and generating ideas. With its simple drag-and-drop interface, you can begin with a simple concept and expand it into a rich multimedia project, blending images, videos, and audio elements. Superstudio subscribers can enjoy unlimited infinite canvases for various projects.

Flows

Within Canvases are Flows—short for workflows or creative flows—which are made up of modular, creative AI building blocks (Elements). Flows are how you generate new images and videos.

A menu of Flows are located in the Navigation bar. In Superstudio, there are two groups of Flows:

  • Core Flows are set combinations of Elements that generate specific outputs.

  • Custom Flows are built by you. When you find the perfect combination of Elements and inputs, you can save it to your Navigation bar, rename it, add a thumbnail, and access it from any Canvas at any time.

Core Flows

  • Luma Video: Create a video using Luma Lab’s Dream Machine model.

  • Flux Image: Create an image using the Flux image model.

  • Image Lab: Upload images or write a text prompt to create an image using Kaiber’s own image model. Add a combination of Elements to form a Custom Flow to generate images.

  • Video Lab: Upload images or write a text prompt to create a video using Kaiber’s own video model. Add a combination of Elements to form a Custom Flow to generate videos.

  • Video Restyle: Restyle a video into a specific aesthetic.

Materials

On the right side of the Canvas, Materials are where all uploaded and generated media, alongside Collections, are stored.

Collections

Collections are groups of uploaded or generated images, videos, and audio files. On the Canvas, Collections can be moved to different locations or connected to Flows. By connecting a Collection to a Flow, you can generate media that gets added directly into the folder. Collections are also stored in your Materials.

Navigation

Navigation is located at the top of the Canvas. It offers four main features: Flow, Select, Move, and History.

Navigation features:

  • Flow Menu: Access a menu of Core Flows, and your saved Custom Flows.

  • Move: Move Materials and Flows on the Canvas.

  • Select: Select Materials on the Canvas.
