Why Was My Generation Blocked Due to Content Moderation?

Updated this week

Why was my generation blocked due to content moderation?

A content moderation error message may refer to:

  • Content in the reference images

  • Content in the text prompt

  • Content in the generated media

Common triggers include:

  • Nudity, gore, or anything the AI may interpret as NSFW

  • Copyrighted terms or images (e.g. celebrity names, brands)

  • Flags or national iconography

  • Text in images the AI can’t read or understand

Because AI models don’t fully understand context, you might receive a content moderation message even if nothing appears inappropriate. If you're unsure why something is being flagged please reach out to our support team.

Different models have different moderation thresholds. What fails in one model may work in another. Currently, Kling applies the strictest moderation filters.

Content moderation exists to help ensure the platform is aligned with legal and community standards.

What happens to my credits if a generation fails due to content moderation?

All credits from the failed generation are automatically returned to your account. You may need to refresh the site to see your updated balance.
