Whether you’re making videos, album artwork, social content, merch campaigns, storyboards, it all starts with an image. Here's how.
Add a Create Image Flow to the Canvas
Right-click on the Canvas and select Create Image from the menu, or click Create Image from the left-side toolbar.
Pick a Model
Click the model name at the top of the Create Image Flow to open the Model Menu.
Scroll to see the selection of models and click one to add it to the Flow.
Not sure which to choose?
Nano Banana, Nano Banana Pro and Flux are great all-rounders for creating detailed images and images with typography.
Click the home button in the toolbar on the left side of the Canvas, or check out the the Generating and Editing Images guide to learn more about any of the models.
Set Aspect Ratio
At the bottom of the Create Image Flow, choose the aspect ratio that fits your output.
Write Your Prompt
Type or paste (ctrl+v) your prompt into the Subject field.
The prompt describes what you want to see in the image: the scene, characters, clothing, lighting, colors, camera angles and style.
Skip movement and camera directions. Save those for your video prompt.
Generate
Hit Generate to create your image.
Then edit, animate, upscale or lip sync your image, all on the Canvas.
