How to Create a Video In Kaiber Superstudio

This is a step-by-step guide to creating your first video in Kaiber Superstudio.

Updated this week

Music videos, short films, or social content, whatever you're creating in the Superstudio Canvas all videos start with these steps.

Add a Video Flow to the Canvas

Click Create Video from the toolbar on the left of the Canvas. That adds a video flow ready for you to work with. You can also click “Animate Image” on any image on the Canvas to create a video from that image.

Pick a Model

Click the model name to open the model menu. Scroll through the menu to choose a video model, and click on it to add it to the Create Video Flow.

Which one you choose will depend on your project.

  • Generate video with audio and speech Veo 3.1 and Wan 2.5.

  • Fast, low cost animations from images Kling 2.1 Standard, with prompt strength control.

  • Character consistency and realistic movement MiniMax, Kling, Veo, Luma, Wan

  • Keyframe transitions between two images Luma Ray 2, MiniMax 02, Wan 2.2, Veo 3.1 First/Last Frame.

  • Lip sync Image Lip Sync or Video Lip Sync.

  • Audio reactive visuals Flipbook for audio reactive videos up to 8 minutes

  • Restyle existing footage Video Restyle 1 or Video Restyle 2.

Need help choosing? Click the home button in the toolbar on the left side of the Canvas or check out the Generating Videos guide to learn more.

Add any Reference Media to the Flow

Drag and drop references into the Create Video Flow, or use the upload button in the Flow to upload media from your desktop. Different models support different media inputs, images, audio, or video.

Set the Aspect Ratio and Length

In the Advanced Features at the bottom of the Create Video Flow, set the aspect ratio and video length. For best results, use an image that matches the aspect ratio of your video.

Model Settings

In Advanced Features you'll find settings specific to each model. These may include looping (Luma), audio on or off (Veo 3.1), different versions of the model, speed and quality options like Fast, Standard, and Pro, or choices of output resolution.

Write Your Prompt

Keep your video prompt focused on motion:

  • Dynamics

  • Who or what moves

  • How the camera behaves

  • Any speech or sound

If you're animating from an image, the visuals are already there. Your video prompt just needs to bring them to life. See How to Get Better Results From Your Video Generator for a full guide to writing and structuring video prompts.

Click Generate

Your video will geneate on the Canvas, next to the Create Video Flow.

From there, you can download, upscale or extend your video, add lip sync, add audio, restyle, or add your videos to a project using Beat Sync or Timeline Edit in the Superstudio Video Editor.
